| RAFT Racing has recently been offered the opportunity to become a test team for a new GT2 class that will run and be scored with the GT cars but will be able to have more than the 685HP limit but a 20% power handicap is applied. After testing the new car we have agreed to run the Lamborghini Aventador for the remainder of the season. |

| Looks nice. I appreciate the help of RAFT racing for helping to be the development team for this new approach to increasing the available cars for GT class. _________________ |

| My post were not Derogatory towards admin nor were they negative towards the series. Why are they being censored? o351 Fri Apr 27, 2012 8:52 pm Topic: Re: Aventador and GT2 One of the reasons I love YOUR series is up until now you have stuck to your rules, however letting a team that constantly runs in A room lobbies change cars mid season dosent seem fair. ExampleIf I chose a faster or slower car no change would be granted. So I, and I am sure many other racers are wondering why this is taking place mid season? May any driver switch at this point? It seems biased! |

| The rule is still in place 100%. Instead of having a " well if they can why can't I approach" why not look at the overall picture. They're not going from Chevy to dodge or Lexus to Devon....the switch that was made is same manufacturer. Similar to the RUF to Porsche switch that was made clearly available at the start of the season. No different. Accept that I initiated it to test. The cars ARE NOT faster, in fact they are 3-4 seconds slower for the most part. Try the build yourself. A base series build car Roll cage, race tires, and aero. Then go into an online race and restrict the HP by 20%. There is no advantage gained by the switch. If one is shown by the RAFT team it will be handled with the same method as any other racer in the series.
I know change can be misleading and misunderstood. I expected a level of what's and whys. What I am asking is give it a chance. If it fails I am responsible. I have seen it happen in real series and it could here also. OR it could work out well and add to the success of the series. It's a chance I am taking. But without risk there can be no reward. _________________ |

| I am trying not to get a big debate, discussion turn to argument started. I would prefer to discuss manners one on one.
To be more clear I found out that due to that forum fiasco a season or so ago with (names deleted) on the forums and all the negativity about this that and the other thing caused the series to lose a pretty heavy sponsor that was considering being a long term sponsor. That really taught me a lesson and I had to take new measures to prevent it from happening again so as to not lose what we have as a current sponsor and hopefully try to win back the one we had interested. It was a HUGE sponsor for the series that could have elevated this to a completely new level. We emulate them and they know about us. Think about that for a sec.

| I see how some can mistake it for a bad thing. I thought that at first too but its not a bad idea. It adds a lot of variety to the series and lets us see new cars that haven't been on track before. Its open to opinion but its a big leap for the series. I see this bringing in new racers that can drive cars they have always wanted to in a series like this. Have faith in Pred, he hasn't steered us wrong yet. I know I'm new here but I am loving this series. Adding more variety makes it that much better. Its always good to have a new challenge.
Edit: I am loving the new paint on those lambos by the way. Looking very good. |

| Good luck to the RAFT team and their adventure with testing in the GT2 class. See you on the track!
Looking forward to seeing some new cars out there.
Thank you Pred for utilizing the many tools given to us by Turn10 to ensure the playing field can be leveled. These cars will be a great addition to the series. I am sure there will be growing pains but all change brings such obstacles. It will all pan out.
Sam OUT! |

| Shouldn't this be an off weekend if we're doing two weeks on, one week off? |
